KITE Service Disruption

On Tuesday, March 29th at approximately 1:30 pm central time, a major fiber cable bundle providing connectivity to the University of Kansas was cut and severely damaged. EED, in consultation with AAI, is recommending that districts delay testing until Thursday, 3/31/16. This will allow adequate time for full repairs to take place and the system to be completely restored.

AAI will program the system to allow for students to restart in the stage in which they were testing when the testing was interrupted. Reactivations will not be necessary. EED will be sending regular updates via email to all District Test Coordinators.
